Sarah has been a freelance editor and copyeditor full time from 2005 to 2016. She is familiar working with Chicago Manual of Style and MLA and has also worked a little with AP and APA.

Her freelance experience includes writing and editing web copy, copyediting a book manuscript, editing PhD candidate academic papers, and copyediting legal reports. Her experience also includes back-end and front-end QA in websites and LMSs. She has worked as an undergraduate writing tutor, an in-house contract proofreader, a full-time lead copyeditor at an educational publisher, and as a writing instructor where she gives high-level writing development feedback.
